Hi Helen – I enjoy your podcast so much! It was fun hearing you talk about your gift knitting and the possible sweaters for your little girls. I love all of the patterns you mentioned, and will add one more for you to think about: Miss Marple by Nadia Cretin-Lechenne. It calls for worsted weight, and I have made it at least four times! It is a classic little cardigan, knits up quickly, and I love the construction. You knit it from the bottom up, do the neck shaping and join the shoulders, then pick up for the sleeves and knit them down using short row shaping for the sleeve caps. It looks so nice when finished! (and no seaming – even the shoulder seams are done with the 3 needle bindoff!)

Thanks for the wonderful podcast! It is always a treat! Missy

  2. Thanks for reviewing my book in your podcast and for backing my Kickstarter! It made me smile to listen – I guess if you have never heard my podcast then the references to sound in the introduction may seem a bit baffling and I am really aware that sound and knitting are not obvious partners!

There is a lot for me to do with the book at the moment, but I am itching to return to podcasting – I love recording audio as it is a wonderful way of being present to the everyday world.

I enjoyed your notes on holiday knitting, I never manage to make all the gifts I mean to for Christmas.

Thanks again, I really hope the book gives you inspiration and many happy hours of celebrating your world in stranded colourwork 😀
