  1. This was a lovely podcast and thank you so much for bringing up “taboo” topics. As women, we need to remember that we are not alone and we can be there for each other no matter what. I too have issues. I cannot bear children (egg issues) and I’m ok with that. All my life I’ve sort of been forwarned that I might have issues, but it was still a sad shock. But I have 10 nieces and nephews and my life is still full of love and laughter with them and the rest of my family and friends. This podcast is eerily cathartic since I did wake up from a weird nightmare this morning (yes, really) about not being able to bear a child. Weird that it was a dream today since this is not new news to me. But, my hubby is battling a highly curable 2A Hodgkins Cancer right now and just started chemo so maybe him and me dealing with that just also brought up the baby issue in my mind since the chemo will affect him now as well. So, not to be too TMI but thanks for always having happy podcasts, but still also touching on some of the more difficult issues since a poster brought it up 🙂 As always, I just love sitting and crafting and listening to your wonderful voice and lovely stories!

  2. Hi Helen, so happy to have found your podcast. It is nice to here a fellow Aussie in the northern hemisphere talking about the same knit season as I am in. I’ve gone back in time and bulk listened to your podcasts. I like that you cover so many interesting topics, also your difficulties with having children. I’ve been on a 4 day knit retreat here about a month ago. And going on a knit cruise in January. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  3. Thank you so very much for all the kind words about our new book Within! I’m so happy you enjoyed the book and it’s photos!!! Means so much and we’re thrilled to hear you loved the patterns!

    Thanks so much! xoxo
