Here we go! It’s the final set of yarn spoilers for this season.
As always, these hints are designed not to give too much of the surprise away, but to help you plan and prepare if you like to cast on the minute the pattern is released.

But if you like to be totally surprised, proceed with caution: the following yarn information and design hints contain minor spoilers
YARN SPOILERS FOR THE SIXTH SHAWL FROM THE SHAWL SOCIETY 5 AHEAD!
First: the pattern hints:
1. This is a fingering weight shawl. As always, if you have some lace weight or DK in your stash that you want to use, that would work too, just know the size and yarn quantities will shift along with your yarn choice.
2. This is a three-colour shawl: it has been designed with three skeins in mind, one light, one medium, and one dark.
3. How much contrast you want to have between these colours is up to you: you can get lovely effects with low-contrast yarns or a bold graphical look with high contrast. If you want to check the amount of contrast between three skeins, take a photo of them together and then change it to black and white: it will really help you see how much difference there is between them.
Onto all the detailed yarn requirements for the shawl!
Sample 1 was knit in Miss Click Clack Centre Place Single, a fabulous Aussie dyer. I just loved this yarn! (So did Sindy!) She dyes her special yarn in such small quantities that I’m not sure you’ll be able to get your hands on the exact colours I used, but she does have a lot of dreamy skeins listed, so I encourage you to check out her shop and have a play with colours. I know you’ll come up with something wonderful!

Sample 2 was knit in Louie & Lola’s BFL Nylon Fingering. If you’ve been following for a while, you know that I’m such a big fan of Karina’s gorgeous yarns.
