Curious Collective 2014

Welcome to the second annual Curious Collective Shawl Design and Knit Along (DKAL) Project!

Join the collective to have your say in my next shawl design!

Starting 5 July 2014, you can join in here to vote in this choose-your-own-shawl adventure to help design the next Curious Collective shawl.

Each week there will be a vote to make choices regarding various design aspects of the shawl.

When all the votes are in and design choices made, I will finalise the design, write it up and update this file so you will have the full pattern.

Then the knit along will begin!

I am collaborating with Juno Fibre Arts for this project again, and the yarn for this shawl will be the delectable Juno Alice.

Important! Make sure you sign up to my newsletter Curious Yarns to make sure you don’t miss any votes or announcements throughout the project.

You can buy the Curious Collective 2014 pattern now on Ravelry for the special early adopter price of just £1.49!

VOTE NOW!

  1. Love your patterns Helen! I started a Radiance Rage down here two years ago at Wooly Monmouth- that continues to this day.

Love the fun idea of being involved in your design brilliance in this way :>) and looking forward to another of your designs!!

    • Thanks so much Rhona. I LOVE that…a Radiance Rage!! You Wooly girls!! (I hope you’re still meeting up?! – very sad to hear about Wooly closing!)

      • We’re all actually getting together tomorrow – at the shore! Knitting and sand? I’m confused but excited. It is sad about Wooly closing – certainly miss the shop! But when you see Dori these days – and her adorable baby – it’s all good!!

        Excited about your DKAL!

  2. Very excited to be participating in this again. Last year, while I was not able to keep up with the KAL, I did eventually finish and it is a shawl that I wear often. I’m a slower knitter but I do get to the finish line sooner or later.
